I think Szucs will add the option to invert on the right and get close to Whittaker, ameliorating that issue somewhat.
Have to say I’d like a fit Gyabi over Randell - as disloyal as that feels. He’s that bit more dynamic.
You’re right though: for me, it feels CMs who can receive on the half-turn and have the ability to either pass or drive are the most important cogs in this system. For all the talk FBs and second strikers.
So not only are we light there in terms of appropriate skill set, but it’s arguably the most crucial position in the team.
